Dealing with the Dead

Post by Ryan » Thu Nov 29, 2012 1:17 pm

If you have a man KIA - how do you deal with the situation and how do you deal with the body? In an ongoing firefight bodies can become movement inhibitors and detractors psychologically. I mean I'm not talking black tags and body bags here, I'm talking man KIA. Is it a priority to recover the body? What about body part recovery?

In a Scottish accent: "YOU DON'T STOP! YOU NEVER STOP! NOW GO! GO!"

Unless it is truly in your way dealing with the body in anyway during the fight will only cause the casualty count to go up. Sometimes you might even have to use buddy cover if the situation calls for it.
