How does MOUT - Military Operations in Urban Terrain - differ from CQB - Close Quarter Battle?

Basically, and often forms combined arms, larger unit structures (squad, platoon on up) in operations boxes and other limits of the area they are patrolling. You can think about it as that. MOUT is often broader, area-focused.ClearRight wrote:Isn't MOUT an umbrella term, including CQB, humanitarian aid, patrolling, etc etc.? Basically every operation the military undertakes in an urban environment is MOUT, whereas CQB is just that - Close Quarters Battle.
