I believe that most people will not use this but rather what is shown in the following two videos:





I'm not entirely sure why but I'm guessing it's because of the fact that you have more control over the weapon that way.

I consider this magazine change way to fancy and complicated. For me it takes fine motor skills to pull this off. I don't like it at all. I like simple gross motor movements.

I prefer these methods.

a. transition to my handgun and get to cover

b. magazine change with retention(don't let the gun run empty)

c. magazine change without retention(hopefully done from a position of cover, after I finished the dude off with my handgun)
