The Combat Handgun Grip

Postby jimothy_183 » Thu Sep 15, 2011 1:20 pm

There are currently 2 grips that are accepted as being the most modern grips for autoloading pistols.

Thumb Over Thumb

Straight Thumbs/High Tang Grip

A good article that talks about both these grips.

Anyone want to throw in their 2 cents and discuss?

Excellent video demonstration of the combat handgun grip on a semi-auto! The trainer stated his point of view and then, demonstrated from all angles how the recoil moves the weapon. Good post!
