All of these vids feature the game Rainbow Six: Raven Shield ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raven_shield ).
CQB Training 19/04/08
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYzUxE9MtgA
This here is a training vid with me and my team. (Alan on this forum is also in here)
You will see some players running around like headless chickens, if I remember correctly I almost shot one when he jumped out of nowhere. That's because it is a public game and all of the public players don't know jack about what we were trying to do.
Birddog, is that the same in Airsoft? I mean in games where random joes in Airsoft games just run around like rambo and all that?
Room Clearing with Trailers
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vi-lV_gemcY
This and all the other vids below are vids of the same team training but before I joined up. As you can see they are playing with an entry technique where only the first two guys enter and leave an air gap for trailers to move through and set up on the next door...like a leapfrogging technique.
|CTU| Training (20/12/07)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vjcf3tN3scA
Just some two man team training here....
Killhouse Training (02/09/07)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVBrvLRo9pM
Just some killhouse training here with a 3 man team. Nice and quick entries by the first two men here with the buttonhooks.
[CTU] Training
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3LqKMkzciY
Just some ordinary two man team training here again. Note the table in the first room, this is the type of obstacles that I talked about in the other thread where I haven't seen vids of professional teams clear rooms with obstacles like the one in this vid here. Also note that the game makes you escort your hostages rather than just restraining them and leaving them there, I believe in real life you just restrain them. However you can see that the team here dumps the hostage anyways.
Raven Shield: A Tactical Perspective
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emE5Z372ZcA
Alan pointing out the AI (artificial intelligence) of the game in single player and how they employ CQB tactics.
Room Clearing
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvF4v7xQvuE
Just a vid of a 2 man entry, this was posted to show the good decision making of the team members. As you can see #1 ignores the threat because he's not in his AOR while the #2 man does not only because threats in his AOR but also because he's blocking the path to his POD.
Room Clearing
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RPdBVf-dtM
This is a vid showing the different running speeds in the game, unfortunately the developers of the game didn't focus on getting the moving speeds of the game characters enough and now we as players have to suffer the consequences when doing entries.
Wall Flood vs Immediate Threat
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGNH8nokY_c
Just a vid of Alan doing a comparison of WF vs IT by himself. Seems even the pros and cons of both techniques are evident in the game.
Iron Sights Mod Demo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7bp9576ZVM
Just a vid showing the ironsights mod for the game. Yes, the developers of the game were stupid enough to not include ironsights in the game.....
[SAS] Dynamic
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXkfdbp6dxY
No, this is not a vid of the real life 22nd SAS.
This is a vid of another team on Raven Shield demoing their so called "dynamic mode". Alan and myself think that's just plain reckless really.
Weapons Training
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEN5EuNItB0
Just the team doing some target practice.
SSF Clan Trailer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBOpstl0-TY
Just a recruitment video made by a team I was once part of before it disbanded. The game featured in this video is called SWAT 4 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SWAT_4 )
And that's it, if theres any vids that don't match up with the description or the title just tell me and ill fix it.
What do you guys think of all this?

fire team ops
close combat, first to fight.
for all platforms, USMC urban warfare simulator trainer, takes a very real approach to fire team operations, 4 man coordinated operating in a very hostile environment. and it has a coop option so you can play with other team members.

Semper Fi.....
I played all this games, some of them for competitions:
UT series, QUAKE, ET: QUAKE WARS etc.. (online frag games, clan competition)
Half Life, Counter Strike (online - coop)
SWAT 4 (online - coop)
US army
Rainbow Six Vegas 1 & 2 (terrorist hunt, singleplayer)
Battlefield series, mostly BF2 (online - clan competitions)
Ghost Recon 2 (online)
Call Of Duty series, mostly COD4 (online)
Crysis (online)
and many others, modifications, etc..
Yep, I like FPS games
As first I wanna mention 2 games who are good for CQB simulation to train entry and room clearing:
R6: Raven shield and SWAT 4 games.
Someone should post here a comment about R6 Vegas 1 & 2. Im curious to see what pros have this game about CQB during online play which I didn't played it yet.
Keep in mind that there still does't exist good tactical games who simulate realistic combat situation.
For example: bullet penetration trought walls / obstacles (COD4 have it more or less), game physics & explosion physics (Crysis have it more or less..) good AI (artificial intelligence) of enemy / bots (no game have it.. yet), etc..

Should try the training series.... HARD!
Very fun.
Room domination is epic!
2 men, one room, in and out in 4 seconds.
