Interesting discussion, see the full comments. Apparently airsoft players state that entries (real life, by MIL) break down even against them.

I actually know the guy that posted that. Here's the thing, most .mil guys that play don't actually shoot that much. Most of them don't actually have lots of experience in CQB. CQB airsofters do. It's not really about military sucks, or military is better... it's who has more experience and lessons learned from that? Average airsofter and average .mil guy, the average airsofter will have more time there.
If you take the upper ends of airsoft and the bleeding edge of military, the military wins. Barely. Interestingly enough, a lot of the top end MilSim airsoft guys are military / leo / trainers etc.
Then again, stacking / breaching isn't the proper tool for a prepared defender. Fight from the entry point, clear as much as possible from there, then hit the hard corners.

Jason Falla wrote before about how after he left SF and went into instructing his shooting skills went up because he had a lot more time to focus on that which would have been taken up with keeping a lot of other qualifications and skills current such as parachute qual.

He was right. When your focus is diffuse because you're trying to keep ALL of your varied skills up to certain standards, it's not easy to find extra time to focus on one area.jimothy_183 wrote:Jason Falla wrote before about how after he left SF and went into instructing his shooting skills went up because he had a lot more time to focus on that which would have been taken up with keeping a lot of other qualifications and skills current such as parachute qual.
If you have `cleared' all the rooms and met no resistance, you and your entry team have probably kicked in the door of the wrong house.
