Some are using airsoft as a training tool, not bad.

On the second video at 0:45, what type of "cross" entry method is this? And what happened with the frontal security, not a priority during this exercise?

Anyways, cool videos, Ryan. Good to see airsoft being used for training even by professional tactical units. Not everyone can afford seminition, and airsoft is better than just running around with empty weapons shouting "Bang, Bang!" at the paper targets.

Kind regards, Dramatikk. :)

Kind regards, Dramatikk. :)

What do you guys think of this team?

And Dramatikk, pretty good training but no doubt training scars will come with a civilian training you or when things are confused or mistaken.

Ahhh airsoft. I like good quality camera angles with high quality definition.
Airsoft is good for coming across those amatuer mistakes otherwise not talked about. For example, hitting the muzzle off things - noise compromise.

Airsoft is fun, and I'm a regular, but some things are taken too seriously.

My team got kicked off an outdoor event in germany last year. Some team with more expensive equipment then an actual SF unit bitched to the sites admins because they heard their own PMR466 communications from my backpack at the respawn area. They thought it was OK to use 1500Euro longguns, smoke and bb-grenades, side-arms, hundreds of euro's spent on lame patches etc, but me using a 150euro radioscanner was cheating according to them.

the site admins agreed with them because they were also germans, so we got our entry fees back and drove home. If they spent a normal amount of money on their primary gear they would have had plenty left to get some encrypted motorola's... Everyone knows ctss dcs etc. are very easy to crack with any scanner.

Airsoft is fun, and you don't have to explain the marks the paintballs make on your skin to everyone, but some people take it way to serious. you are shooting .25g projectiles from 120round magazines at people with 360fps, you are not an operator, and certainly not fire-arm safe...
