Topics to Present (PowerPoint)

Post by Ryan » Wed Oct 14, 2015 12:56 am

What topics can you think of that I can write about?

I have done:
Dogma of CQB
Changing paradigm of CQB

What else?

Limited vs immediate entries?
I'm currently doing an Analysis of the Hypercacher Raid.
CQB-TEAM Education and Motivation.

I actually try to avoid looking at books on successful operations and try to concentrate on the failed operations and what went wrong. A recent example for me would be the raid in the Philippines back in January that left 44 members of their "elite" counter-terrorism/HR unit dead. Look back over as much info as you can find. Besides not being "officially"? sanctioned, what went wrong?
Or the SEAL team raid on the al Shabaab compound in 2013. Besides the poor intel on how many civilians were actually present before beginning, what else went wrong and how could it have been avoided? Or mitigated at the time?
If you have `cleared' all the rooms and met no resistance, you and your entry team have probably kicked in the door of the wrong house.
