What is a linkman?

Post by Ryan » Sun Aug 03, 2014 2:49 am

The linkman. What is his role?

As I understand - filing into a room, one man is left per room to communicate, link and direct other teams, secure civilians, pass on logistical supplies, and so forth.

I've seen that role in large groups. Never in smaller units. In LE units, I've seen it fulfilled by uniformed officers that followed on.
