My GLOCK problem

Post by geryban » Fri Dec 09, 2011 2:12 am

I have a GLOCK 17. Yesterday I was in a county SWAT championship, and the next thing happenned: My GLOCK shoot 2 rounds on 1 triggerpull sometimes (3 times of 50 rounds). It was not absolutely clean, but my last cleaning was about 50 rounds ago... The gun have 2000 shots since last 10 years, so its not an "old" gun. Im not an engineer, so anybody??? experience? ideas?

Number of things, isolate human error and modifications i.e. bump firing or hitting the trigger without meaning to and you have things like the trigger sear set so light that when the slide comes forward and slams into the end stop it could be dislodging the sear and firing the weapon. It happened on a mates .22 when he flicked the safety off quickly it discharged around 50% of the time. Try adjusting it so it's a little heavier.

Probably worn and not seating (stopping where it should) properly.

Edit: Spelling mistake.
