To search for any evidence or items of substance post-clearance. Any tips?

Having a good dog that knows cadaver and/or explosives detection is useful in a post-clearing search. Primary blueprints from the original construction and a laser tape measure so that you're able to determine if there have been structural changes. Thermal imaging and ground penetrating radar to verify the presence of hidden ground bunkers. Just a few thoughts off the top of my head.
If you have `cleared' all the rooms and met no resistance, you and your entry team have probably kicked in the door of the wrong house.
