Re: Two man team videos

Good points. Agree: Best entry is when they come out... But what if not? In a normal house every range is close, sliceing or not (Like in the video). Point and shoot 2feet or 7 no different. In a real house, sliceing give to you 1-3 more feet. To me, no thanks. I think this technique in the video is...

Re: Two man team videos

Personaly, i dont like this "slowmotion" techniques. maybe its working in individual home defence, but it failed in professional FOF, against a highly trained personel, especially in low light. Too long time, too much focus to one point, noisy, and static. My oppinion is if you are alone in the dark...

Shooting without gloves much better, its fact. In real operations the realy good gloves are needed and give advantages. Fact too.

Re: Mammut Tactical

I had a Mammut Tactical full body harness, but I sold it last year. I use Petzl or Blackhawk now. Mammut was too heavy and rigid, but very strong and comfortable, and have a lot of variations. Good for LE static stuffs. I dont know, how can U buy it, I bought it in Serbia, many years ago. I think U ...

Re: hand postion

both hands on the gun, if its possible. especially in fast movements. Better first two shoot is the most important.... (Glock22 can during shooting with one hand... this is your primary weapon. not your weak hand... :) )

Re: decender

I think its a little bit complicated, not black or white. its not about how fast can you go down. If you like the fastest, cut the rope, and you ll be the winner guaranteed. I only used Grigri, STOP, and ID, but speed rapelling with these is harder than figure8, because with the fig8 you can control...

fig8 and friends are faster, have more controll, work every type of ropes (!!!), lock is one single movement, little, easy, lightweight, packable, etc. pros, cons. be carefull with the word: "never"... :)

I think use dynamic, or use limited techniques depend on situation, but fact: dynamic (or semi-dynamic) movements have pros. in several situations (like limited). I think keep moving and speed: keep alive. another fact: surprise is a big pro. its not about the surprise that im in the building. its a...

We talk about pieing techiques here, not about entry. Not same. I talked about dinamic pieing. My subjective oppinion is the slow pieing does not work. If you have ever been in FOF training, you know too, it doesnt work. Go to a killhouse with Simmunition guns, and try... "little step, search up and...

Here is my absolutely subjective oppinion: Point shooting is an emergency weapon handleing technique. Not more. Survive a surprise. Give you a chance for sight shoot... Grip my weapon correctly, draw, and shoot with it without using of sights... CQB is about WHERE is the gunfight not HOW. Emergency ...

Lot of type exist, and lot of types dont work in real life, this is my hard conviction. Old and all time discussion, wich technique is the best. FOF trainings experiments needed to do this techniques well, no another way! Personally I prefered more dynamic versions.

"this good for CQB, and that is not" is a sentence no point... CQB is just an environmental factor of fighting, not more. Its about WHERE (only the part of where, exactly...) Other words: Semi is better for CQB in hundreeds of situations. But these type of operations (above), the revolver is better ...
