It is a cool idea but can be cumbersome to carry. A better option might be a couple Recon Robots that you can throw up on a flat roof or use to look around corners. There is a shorter expandable pole they attach to for attics too. Work much better for basements with open stair cases too.

Front kicking, while it looks bad ass, forces you to confront a potential threat immediately upon breach. This can be problematic as the breacher most likely is not on his gun and working the angles. Bar pulls with the Bear Cat. I've seen the Broco torch work pretty well too but have not used it myself. Anyone had any lunch with explosive breaching them?

Depends on the material. Garage door material, insulated aluminum or wood is easily defeated with a chainsaw. Metal roll up doors commonly found in ghetto commercial districts will need a K12 saw.
